Yoga Nidra is often referred to as “yogic sleep” and is a tool for accessing relaxation and deep rest. We will also be honoring Yoga Nidra as a state of consciousness, and as a manifestation of the Goddess of Rest herself (also called Yoganidra).
In times of collective crisis, it is pivotal to offer ourselves space to rest, so that we can continue to show up well for our communities and the collective. Rest offers us the space and stillness for our intuition to speak to us, and for our creativity to be revitalized.
Yoga Nidra has been instrumental in helping my nervous system settle. This alone has supported me in experiencing more clarity, and moving with deeper intention and care, for myself and for others.
